Bargaining continues: where we are now

We resumed bargaining with UFCW 401 this week in Calgary.

As you know, these negotiations involve complex and meaningful issues and these discussions take time.

We continued to work on non-monetary items and made some progress.

Our goal remains to reach an agreement that supports stability, fairness, and our shared success well into the future. We continue to be concerned about the impact of the recent Court of Appeal decision and the uncompetitive position it has put us in.

From May 19 – 21, we’ll meet with UFCW 401 in Edmonton to work together and move the bargaining process forward. We’ll share an update following those discussions.

As always, be sure to connect with your Store Manager if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you.
